I went and saw 'The Princess and the Frog' last night with Julia and her little girl. Needless to say, this Disney chick was extremely pleased. ^_^ It was definitely reminiscent of the Classic Disney movies that I grew up on, and the artwork was just extraordinary.



I love that we have a brand new Princess who is not only beautiful on the outside, but on the inside as well. Tiana is a wonderful example for young girls, and we definitely need more of those these days. :)

My paid account expired about two months ago, and for the first time in 4 years I didn't renew it. Well, not right away at least. ^_^ I started to miss being able to edit comments, having more user pics, and not having ads on the sides of the page, so I caved. I've just spent the last 45 minutes saving/clearing off almost 100 inactive icons and updating things. It's a good feeling!

I just wanted to say a quick CONGRATULATIONS!!! to all of my friends who were nominated or won in Round 4 of the sshg_awards! Thank your for your hard work, and the hours of enjoyment it provides to us happy little fangirls. :D It's what has kept our wonderful ship afloat for all of these years, and as Shug said, makes it the BEST ship! ^_^ Much love to you lovely ladies. <3

Dh Preview One - A funny movie is a click away

I'm so looking forward to it, but I really wish they hadn't dragged it all out for so effing long.

Work has been a fucking nightmare this past week. I'm in a fog everyday while driving home, during rush hour no less. I think I've almost wrecked my brand new, four week old 2010 Ford Focus that I got for my birthday at least three times. Maybe four. I hate driving in this town. People are insane. I include myself in that statement. I have horrible road rage. I sometimes wish that I carried a gun, and anytime some asshole cuts me off, rides my ass, or slams on his brakes suddenly because he's riding the ass of the guy ahead of him, I could just roll my window down and point it at him. Not shoot him mind you, just point it. God that would be great. Is it illegal to do that? Nevermind, don't answer that, I know that it is. ^_^ But damn that would be sweet.

At any rate, it's nothing that several drinks and a little BBC and/or a good book can't fix. I just need to relax this weekend. I'm sure next week will be better. I hope. :)

I put up Christmas decorations on Tuesday night! The house looks lovely, and my favorite thing to do is lay on the couch in the living room with the tree lit and every other light in the house off. The soft, warm glow reminds me of how much I love this time of year.

And speaking of which...

Just finished watching 'The Sound of Music' -- I hadn't seen it in years and happened upon it while channel surfing. ^_^ I always forget how wonderful it is.

I'm off to bed and hopefully to sweet dreams that include the gorgeous Captain Von Trapp. ;D I had the absolute biggest crush on him when I was a kid.

I feel like its been forever!! (Probably because it has!) I've spent the last couple of hours catching up on the latest that has been going on with you all. I hope you're all doing well. :) I've missed you, the fandom, and all of the SS/HG goodness like crazy!!! RL has just been kicking my ass this year, causing me to fall behind on my internet life. I even missed the last SSHG Exchange! :( Between work (don't even get me started), some health issues, and now trying to buy my first house, 2009 has been quite a year.

I'll keep this post short today. I really just wanted to come on here to say hello and that I've missed keeping up with you all. Believe it or not I think about everyone often, and all the good times I've had chatting with you, enjoying your latest story, your art, etc. :D
